Cre8ive Events are pleased to entertain you at the The Sniff and Spit Challenge. It’s upbeat and a great social catalyst that works well for mixed groups.

Your evening will include the following:

The Sniff and Spit Challenge  - 5-7pm
Put your grey matter to the Sniff and Spit taste bud test. Great fun and light-hearted.
Pick up nuggets of information from your wine tutors so that everyone can join in with confidence. Learn the ‘systematic’ approach to tasting wine – or rather how to ‘Sniff and Spit’ before the serious competition begins.

Round 1 - Fizz challenge ­ is it Champagne or Cava? Which is Champagne and which is not? Can you sniff out the difference and do we pay too much for a well-known label?

Round 2 - Call my Bluff ­ Red and White. In your teams work out who is telling the truth and who is bluffing.

Round 3 - Bluffers guide to quality.  Taste two wines from the same grape or grapes and the same country, but at different ends of the quality/price spectrum. Is quality linked to price, quality appellation and can you taste the difference?

Round 4 - Surprise

Round 5 - Taste off. A representative from each team will retaste one of the wines from the evening and then have to identify it. Two tutors are required.

This includes two wine tutors to entertain you, 8 quality wines for tasting, a magnum of Veuve Clicquot for the winning team, professional ISO glasses, flutes for the Champagne, spittoons, staffing for the event.
